RIM offered their BlackBerry Trade Up Program to the U.S. back in February, and now it has opened for Canada. To use the program you must upgrade into a certain BlackBerry device from another, and answer some questions about the condition of your BlackBerry. Once you activate the new BlackBerry, you send in your previously used BlackBerry and you should get your rebate in 6-8 weeks. Check it out…

When you upgrade your device, the eligible devices are: BlackBerry Torch 9800, Style 9670, Bold 9700, Bold 9780, Curve 9300, Curve 8520, Curve 8530, or the Pearl 9100. The devices to be trading from must be from the following working devices: BlackBerry Pearl, Curve, Bold, Storm, Tour, 87xx or 88xx.

After going to the site and listing the information, you’ll notice a quote for trade in value and promotional credit. So what does that mean? The trade in value is the amount you are awarded for your current smartphone. Promotional credit is the amount you are awarded if you follow the guidelines and upgrade into one of the eligible devices from one of the working eligible trade in phones.

You can read more details of the site itself in the following link:
