BlackBerry PlayBook OS Update 1.0.1.1696 Starts Rolling Out

It’s a sign of things to come! RIM has started rolling out BlackBerry Tablet OS 1.0.1.1696 for the PlayBook. The OS seems to be rolling out in stages, therefore everyone won’t be getting it at once, and killing RIM’s servers. We haven’t heard what fixes are in this update, but we are hoping for some new goodies. You should be prompted when connected to Wi-Fi to do the Tablet OS update (when its available to you) or by connecting it to the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
