Another Hands-on with the BlackBerry Torch 2!
Yesterday we got to see a new hands-on with the unannounced BlackBerry Bold Touch, now BGR has managed to some hands-on time with the also unannounced BlackBerry Torch 2. This second generation BlackBerry Torch will keep the same form factor, but bring a much needed internal boost. The Torch 2 will be powered by a 1.2GHz processor, and will come loaded with the new BlackBerry OS 6.1, plus feature NFC (near field communication), Magnetometer, and an Accelerometer. BGR is reporting that the Torch 2 is on track for a June/July release, with an official announcement coming at BlackBerry World early next month. Check out some more pictures below…
Judging by the pictures it looks like RIM will be keeping the same F-S1 battery found in the current Torch 9800. We really hope RIM plans on changing this to a much more powerful one, so we can get a Bold-like battery life experience.
