BlackBerry Software Roadmap for 2011 Leaks Out! Shows BIS 4.0, OS 7.0 and more.

2011 is certainly shaping up to be an interesting year for RIM. We recently got a peak at their smartphone lineup for 2011, and now thanks to N4BB, we get a chance to see RIM’s BlackBerry Software Roadmap for this year. According to the leaked roadmap, RIM plans to introduce several software updates, including BIS 4.0, Facebook 2.0 with Chat, BlackBerry Protect, Ticketmaster, News Feed app, and App World for the PlayBook. In additional to the app updates it looks like RIM also plans to introduce OS 7.0 late this year. It’s still unclear if OS 7.0 will be the QNX powered OS we have all been dreaming of, or simply just an update from OS 6.1 (which the new devices should ship with).
