Update: Fancy Characters Has Updated To v4.2.0 With Facebook Chat Icons, Text Art And More!

Have you ever wondered where those neat symbols come from that many people use? Fancy Characters is by Sergey Demyanov and the app has all those neat icons, flags, smilies, etc. The update has added even more to the app. Fancy Characters is available in the BlackBerry Sync Store, let’s check out what’s new with the latest version…

Fancy Characters is $1.99 and upgrades from previous versions are $.99. The characters will work in pin, im, email, and sms if you have a gsm device. I love Fancy Characters because I can always add a character and I always get asked where I find these. It used to be there were some select characters a few BlackBerry users had, and they would be shared, but the way to store them was by copying and pasting into Auto Text. Fancy Characters is like having a tool kit that does it for you.

If you have Fancy Characters, you can update by either going online from your pc, and going to the BlackBerry Sync Store sign into your account, then go to My Apps and have the download link sent to your BlackBerry. Or sign into your account from your BlackBerry and go to the Fancy Characters and update.
