BlackBerry Theme Studio v6.0 Beta 2 Officially Released!

This version supports the following BlackBerry devices. It was released day before yesterday as a leak and then officially right after. I know several themes have come out for the newer 6.0 devices. I kept hoping that some of my themes would work with OS 6.0, but no luck and no workaround. Luckily, v6.0 is released and I have seen several theme developers busily releasing some beautiful themes for OS 6.

New features for the BlackBerry Theme Studio v6.0 Beta 2:

  • Support for BlackBerry 6 UI elements
  • Support for the BlackBerry Style 9670 and BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphones
  • Support for additional smartphones running the BlackBerry 6 OS, including the BlackBerry Bold 9780, BlackBerry Curve 9300, BlackBerry Curve 9330, BlackBerry Pearl 9100 and BlackBerry Pearl 9105 smartphones
  • Support for Facebook®, Twitter™, BlackBerry® Messenger, tasks and memos in the Today screens
  • Support for time-based and slideshow backgrounds with a new wizard interface
  • Import existing themes to create BlackBerry 6 versions
  • Batch import of graphics—process is completely automatic
  • BlackBerry App World™ integration: automatically export themes in the proper compressed file formats to allow for BlackBerry App World upload

System requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows® 7, Windows® XP Professional or Windows Vista®
  • RAM: 256 MB or more (512 MB recommended)
  • 800 MHz processor (or faster)
  • Available hard disk space: 400 MB
  • Display: minimum required resolution is 1024 x 768, with 32-bit color
  • Adobe® Acrobat® Reader 3.0 (or later) for viewing documentation in PDF format
  • BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry 6
