Meebo is a popular messaging application online, especially for the younger generation. It includes the current messengers: Yahoo, MSN, Google, AIM, Facebook, My Yearbook, and more and it does it with three advantages: Simple, not using the battery life, and it’s FREE! Check it out…

When I checked out their website, I was surprised at all the networks it includes, most of which I had never heard of, but all the most popular are there. Messaging is so simple. And if you’re a Meebo user, the settings and conversations will transfer over seamlessly. Did I mention that it works for the Torch as well? Meebo has been available for the iPhone and the Android, so this is a great cross-platform messaging app.

The app is very simple with two tabs: Buddies and Chat. It also allows search for your friends easily to pick who to chat with and you can set your status just as easy. You can check out Meebo and sign up online for your acct where you can see all the different networks it includes. If you’re curious, have friends on different networks and would like to have them all in one, want your battery to be less of a martyr, and love free, there’s no reason why you wouldn’t check it out.

Drew – I have found with some of these forums that it just seems to be a way for people to sneer and bitch at others. Some people on The Fall’s forum strike me as quite unpleasant people, though I guess this can happen in any area of life.
