BlackBerry 9800 Passes Thru FCC.. At least we think.

Around 11am later this morning, AT&T and RIM are expected to hold a joint press conference to announce some new product. Most likely it will be the BlackBerry 9800, the slider touchscreen smartphone with full QWERTY keyboard. Earlier this morning the FCC passed a mysterious new BlackBerry handset, without giving too many details. The FCC has not announced the model yet or provided any additional pictures. It’s almost certainty the BlackBerry 9800. You can check out the official FCC docs here. We should also note that mysterious product display boxes have started appearing at AT&T stores across the United States – You can read more about them here.

Now all we have to do is sit back and try and guess the official name before its launch…

Will the BlackBerry 9800 be called: BlackBerry Torch, BlackBerry Slider, BlackBerry Bold, or something else?
