Twitter for BlackBerry Leaves Beta Status.. Enters the Wild!

Twitter for BlackBerrySince April we’ve been testing the official Twitter for BlackBerry client, and honestly it had a little bit of a rocky start. However several months later RIM is proud to announce its officially leaving beta status, and its ready to go. Since launching in April the official Twitter app has seen many great improvements including: Ability to quote retweets, auto complete @usernames, view photos from both Yfrog and Tweetphoto, geotag tweets, hot keys, and the ability to report spam.

As usual you can grab Twitter for BlackBerry from BlackBerry App World or by pointing your BlackBerry browser to blackberry.com/twitter.

I’m really looking forward to seeing how RIM plans to intergrate social networks like Twitter into BlackBerry 6, their next generation operating system. With that being said do you use Twitter for BlackBerry or a third party app like SocialScope, UberTwitter, etc?
