Test for BlackBerry Death Grip “Antennagate” from Xtreme Labs
Xtreme Labs has just introduced a new app which will allow you to actually test your BlackBerry, and see if it suffers from the Antennagate issue that the iPhone 4 is plagued with. Basically it reads your signal strength into dbm levels, then allows you to report any fluctuations to Xtreme Labs. It’s a free download from http://bit.ly/bPehjx from your BlackBerry browser.
So after installing the app: Have you noticed any fluctuation in signal on your BlackBerry with the death grip? Because after testing it several times on my Bold 9700. I can report that I was able to see a small notice in singal change, but only one to two bars drop. Nothing big.
