ParkVu, a Canadian company from Waterloo, Ontario, has launched Music WithMe. It’s an app that allows you to wirelessly sync your iTunes playlists with your BlackBerry. I know there’s the options in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, but this is wireless. There’s no need for a USB connection, no iPod necessary. Check it out…
The features of Music WithMe are as follows:
- Using Wi-Fi or cellular connection, wirelessly syncing iTunes playlists to your BlackBerry
- Automatically updates your playlists on your BlackBerry- make changes to your playlists on iTunes and Music WithMe will mirror changes on the BlackBerry
- App runs in the background- Music WithMe does not have to be open on BlackBerry to sync
- Works with BlackBerry’s native media player- store and play your tracks as usual.
Music WithMe is available at BlackBerry App World for a one-time fee of $14.99 after a free 30 day trial.
It’s simply a true on the go application. You use your connection whether it’s Wi-Fi or cellular, you have the ability to automatically and wirelessly download your music files from your iTunes collection to your BlackBerry anytime from anywhere. Once the music is downloaded you won’t need to use your connection, so the use of data is no longer needed. This will save your data usage and your battery. You can even select your playlists.
Things to note. It works with BlackBerry OS 4.5 and higher, with no download restrictions. You also must have the iTunes software on your pc with your iTunes account.
