Facebook Chat coming to BlackBerry…

Facebook Chat Settings

We always assumed it would be coming, but it finally looks like BlackBerry users might be getting Facebook chat soon. As you know the BlackBerry Facebook application is seriously behind in times when compared to versions for the iPhone and Android devices. A member over at BlackBerry Forums noticed that when he logged into Facebook on his PC, went into the settings, it had a rather curious option showing “Login to Facebook Chat”.

We don’t know when to expect Facebook Chat on BlackBerry, however it wouldn’t surprise us if RIM tied it into Facebook 2.0 and BlackBerry 6 (OS 6.0) somehow. I think we will have to be a little patent and wait and see…
