Could the BlackBerry Slider 9800 Launch on AT&T on August 15th?!

Here’s a rumor that could potentially excite a ton of people. VentureBeat is reporting that RIM’s first hybrid BlackBerry (featuring a full touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard) could be launching as soon as August 15th on AT&T in the United States. Over the past several days we have noticed RIM stepping up their BlackBerry 6 by releasing a multimedia walk-trough, plus the Twitter hash tag #bb6iscoming. If this rumor holds true that means we could see a beautiful new BlackBerry smartphone and RIM’s next generation OS (BlackBerry 6) within the next three to four weeks.

What do you think: Will RIM launch the BlackBerry 9800 on AT&T next month? If so I wonder when it will come to Canada? and other countries?
