BlackBerry Tablet: Truth Or Myth?

There’s been a variety of rumors concerning the elusive BlackBerry Tablet that’s rumored to be in the works. According to msnbc.com, the tablet will have a 7-inch screen, in comparison to the iPad which sports a 9.7-inch screen. The tablet is also rumored to have a 1GHz processor. There’s more…
So what will set it apart? How about a rear facing camera and a front facing camera for video conferencing? This is included with the iPhone 4, but not the iPad. The details came from a note by research analyst Ashok Kumar of Rodman & Renshaw, and his report is shared on cnet news. RIM has declined to comment on the tablet, but according to the post on msnbc.com the tablet could appear as early as the end of the year.
I would expect the tablet to offer some of the features the BlackBerry devices currently don’t have such as the front and back-facing cameras and the larger screen. Only time will tell whether the Tablet will be released, but one has to wonder what other features it will contain by the time it is.
What are your thoughts? Would you buy a BlackBerry Tablet? What features would you like to see in such a device?
