RIM filed a trademark application for a “BlackBerry Drive” on June 11th. The application is somewhat vague with no clear description but RIM paid for 17 different classes of use. What might this mean? With technology advancing so quickly I can’t wait to see what innovative breakthrough we’re about to experience.
According to the GoRumors, the filling states the trademark as pertaining to:
“Key fobs; non-electric cables and wires of common metal; small items of metal hardware; goods of common metal not included in other classes”
Some think it may be that a keyfob accessory to unlock the key door with a pin on your BlackBerry, I suppose we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds. Any one else care to guess what it could mean?
