RIM confirms plans to bring BlackBerry Manufacturing to Brazil

Over the past few days the BerryReview team has been reporting on the possibility of RIM opening up some of their BlackBerry manufacturing in Brazil. Well today RIM confirmed this during a development seminar in Brazil. Apparently RIM plans to build their popular BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone in Brazil with the help of a company called Flextronics. RIM also announced plans for opening the new BlackBerry Academic program in Brazil as well.
