BlackBerry Pearl 9100 to Feature Full QWERTY Keyboard Option?!

Not too sure what to say about this one, but Al Sacco from CIO is reporting that part supplier TrueSupplier has listed a OEM full QWERTY keyboard for the unreleased BlackBerry Pearl 9100. Could it be that RIM is working on a full QWERTY version of the Pearl 9100? I hope so. On the other hand I really hope RIM doesn’t plan on scrapping Suretype out of the 9100, because I’m a fan of it.

So what do you think? Would you grab a Pearl 9100 with a full QWERTY keyboard? or would you prefer a Suretype version?

    Despite some fairly nice devices being released, I have always avoided the BlackBerry Pearl series like the plague specifically because of the SureType keyboard… I’ve used it once before and NEVER again!

    A BlackBerry Pearl device with a “traditional” keyboard though? Now THAT is worth a closer look…
