Recap: Webcast for BlackBerry Application Developers

Earlier this week, Brian Zubert, RIM Sr. Application Development Consultant, presented a very informative webcast on the subject of user interface design and how to utilize some simple tips and tricks to make BlackBerry applications you develop look great to the consumer.  Brian showed through multiple examples how changing small details in your design can make text easier to read, buttons easier to use, and menus more user-friendly.

Whether you are a seasoned developer or just starting out with your first app, this webcast is definitely something you don’t want to miss. The live feed was February 16th, 2010, but the video is available on-demand or you can download the presentation slides to view at your convenience. Also included with the webcast is information on implementing advanced buttons, fields and managers and a link to download sample code to help you get started.

I think it’s great that RIM puts these webcasts together for us, and I look forward to the next one.
