Foursquare Updates Yet Again To v1.5.5, With Some Love For The Storm
Foursquare is updating lately faster than I can check in, okay well maybe not that fast, but pretty consistent. I went to log in after getting home this evening to find out there was yet another update! The GPS social networking game is addicting, and every update adds something new. What’s new?
Well for starters, this last update included the following:
- Touch-screen support for BlackBerry Storm users
- Much better, faster and more accurate location lookups
- Improved performance for both speed and battery life
- New users can now sign up from the phone
- Ability to see nearby tips and tip details
- Ability to add friends
- Ability to find friends
Also included are the following options for adding friends:
- via scanning address book
- via Twitter name
- via first name / last name / phone number
