For Those Who Are SIRIUS About Their XM Radio: SIRIUS/XM For The BlackBerry

February 6, 2010 | By | 3 Comments

It was a rumor, but there are many SIRIUS/XM subscribers who are just thrilled about their Sirius coming to their BlackBerry. This app is an extension of a subscribers Premium online service. There are currently 120 channels available, the same as there are available on the iPhone version.

SIRIUS/XM is high-quality satellite radio, and this seems to be the extension for your car radio version. Currently the app is compatible with the following BlackBerry devices: The 89xx Curve series, 85xx Curve series, the Bold, Storm, Storm2, and the Tour. Pricing depends on the subscription. There’s internet radio for $2.99 to satellite radio for $9.99. It works on WiFi and 3G.

You can download SIRIUS/XM for a free 7-day trial, but you’ll have to sign up to use it past that. You can download Sirius/XM for BlackBerry here. And if you’re serious about getting Sirius/XM, you can read more about it from the Sirius/XM site here.

Thanks to my bro, John, I’ll be reviewing this app, ,and letting you know what I think. If anyone else out there is a current subscriber or has tried it, please let us know what you think. Gotta tell you, the feedback from current subscribers has been nothing less than great.
