BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) 3.0 Launching Sometime Next Week?

Our friends at BerryReview received a tip that RIM will be launching BIS 3.0 sometime next week. This new version of BlackBerry Internet Service isn’t going to introduce anything too earth shattering, with the exception of Gmail labels and two way syncing of read/unread messages. It’s expected that the next version (3.1) will bring some really handy features like two way sync of Google Calendar.

Is anyone here excited for the new upgrade of BIS? I’m personally holding off for RIM’s new BES Express service, which should be launching sometime next month…
