Alltel Releases 5.0.0.419 For The BlackBerry Tour
It’s about time. We’re all waiting for all the carriers to release their 5.0 versions, and it’s good to know that Alltel customers can upgrade their software now. And just to clarify things more clearly, this is for the remaining Alltel customers who are not Verizon-acquired and not to be confused with the Alltel customers who are now Verizon customers. Verizon has yet to release 5.0.0.419 for the Tour at this time, so (Alltel)Verizon customers must wait till Verizon releases theirs.
If you are a Alltel customer and have the Tour, this is the upgrade you have been waiting for.

Thank you for the insight to the Tour O.S upgrade from Alltel, I had no clue we had to upgrade thru our specific carrier. Otherwise I might have downloaded it if I had not Read this article, especially because my service has merged to Verizons. Keep these important articles on here. Makes our life hassle free:)
