UPS had announced yesterday that the UPS Mobile app for BlackBerry would be available for download from BlackBerry App World and it’s there today. It’s an industry-first app that not only ships and tracks shipments, but also finds the nearest UPS location. This is a must for small business owners.
You can request a My UPS ID from UPS by going to the UPS site here. Â You will use your My UPS ID to enable the app to its full extent. After receiving your UPS ID you will be able to use the UPS Mobile App to do the following:
See recent tracks and assign shipment nicknames when you log-in with your My UPS ID. Or track by number, no log-in required.
Log-in with your My UPS ID to access your address book, payment info, and other preferences from ups.com. Email label, then print.
Find the nearest UPS service locations, and get directions.
Estimate shipment costs and delivery times, and select the right UPS service for you.
UPS Mobile App will support BlackBerry OS 4.6 and higher and supports the following BlackBerry devices: Bold, Storm, Tour, and the Curve 8900.
