Movies And Videos To Your BlackBerry Through Wondershare’s Suite
Wondershare has a BlackBerry Converter Suite available for BlackBerry, and the abilities it has are will make conversion even sweeter. I was able to check out the software myself and let you know what I thought about this particular suite of two products: Video Converter for BlackBerry and DVD to BlackBerry Converter.

I installed this suite on my pc, which is running Vista Home Premium 32. It installed painlessly, although it took a little bit. Registration was easy, and the suite opens to allow you to choose which one you want with a description of the software when you hover over either one. I decided to see how the DVD Converter would do. Now this I was impressed with right away.
Not only do you choose which file which all of us who are familiar with converting DVD’s have done before know, but also the ability to edit, to change the lighting, the contrasts, etc. I was taken with this. It wasn’t complicated, all right there and easy to understand. I set the movie to copy and with all the editing I arranged it took a bit but it converted the movie and edited it all in the same time, there was no need to me to take further steps. It reminded me of another software converter I used which had a sheep as the cartoonish icon for writing and etc. It was easy, but it didn’t have the ability to edit lighting, or contrast.
Let me start from the beginning. You open it up and there are three basic steps on the top as the screen above shows. Add, Edit, and Options. First you click on the DVD Add and you select which file you want. I always go for the one that’s the greatest in size, since that’s the full length movie.
Looks fairly easy right? It is, it’s just a matter of knowing what you want, but you’re able to click on your files and preview them to be sure.
Now we edit the dvd. You can change the brightness, the contrast, the saturation, change the effect (old movie, vintage, etc). It’s easy and you can play with it. As the movie is previewing, so are your options as you play with them. Keep in mind that this is preview for now so that  the changes you make are allowing you to see what the finished product will look like.
Here I pulled down the list of options for the effects so that you can see the options available. Pretty nice for your own backup your way.
Here you have options, which are basic options we are familiar with. But it’s nice to know you have the tools to change it.
After you’re finished with the editing and options the movie begins its conversion process with the changes you made. It takes approximately the same amount as the movie is long to convert. You can see by the shots the quality is like the dvd except for changes made.
When the movie has finished converting, take note of where the movie goes. For mine, the set file was in Documents, Wondershare and was in the output file. All you have left to do is to open your BlackBerry Desktop Manager, click on Media, and choose Media Manager, find your movie in the designated file and move your movie to your card on your BlackBerry. That took just a minute or two. Play back is great, no flickering or inconsistencies. The Video Converter works the same, except that it uses video format to convert to your BlackBerry. Easy to use and more importantly one program to do it all.
This software used to be $59.90 but is now available for only $39.95. You can download and purchase the BlackBerry Converter Suite for $39.95 from the Wondershare website here. This is a great set, you have your encryption remover, conversion, editing tools, and the ability to make your movies and video play better and the way you want on the phone you love. And yes, it is compatible with Windows 7 too. Personally, I keep about four movies on my microsd card, but if I had the large screen of the Storm or Storm2, I might keep more. Compared to other video converters I’ve used, this is a five star suite. Even if you only occasionally will use it, it’s worth it.
