MiniPaint By bb4 Software, Making Pictures Fun

I noticed that there’s been some coverage of MiniPaint for BlackBerry, so I thought I’d download it and try it out for myself. It looked like fun. I’ve tried Picture Magic, which is another photo editing software, but this one is free. This is light editing software in which you can add to the pictures.
I installed this app on my BlackBerry Tour 9630 to see what it’s all about. It installed easily and the only other app I have tried for Picture Editing is Picture Magic for the BlackBerry. MiniPaint is different though a little similar. With MiniPaint you open MiniPaint from the picture through the options. As you see by the pictures, it has different options. However, you can only add one item to the picture at a time and save. You can add more items, but it must be done one at a time and saved. Reopen the pic with the MiniPaint and add more.
MiniPaint is fun and adds a touch of humor to your pics. Not bad for a free app. The one thing I do like is that it saves the picture as a copy when you save your finished product, so it doesn’t affect the original.
The difference between the Free item and the paid app is the ability to add to the pic all at once. With Picture Magic I could add as much as I wanted without having to save first. But for free, it’s not bad. You can add hair, hats, texts bubbles and text.

Minimum requirements are: OS 4.5 and a display of 320×240. For example, BlackBerry® 8800, BlackBerry® Curveâ„¢ 8300, BlackBerry® Bold 9000, BlackBerry® Curveâ„¢ 8900. Also, this software hasn’t been tested on the Storm. The app is also in Beta and they would appreciate any feedback on issues.
If you downloaded MiniPaint, please share your thoughts with us. We’re curious to know what you think.
