now has a app available that allows you to have nine contacts that you can have identified by the color LED light and the call and SMS text. The app is small and uses little battery, allowing you up to nine different contacts and colors.

The app is IdentifyMe and is available for $3.99 in the BlackBerry Sync Store. Because it is only nine contacts it is easy to distinguish who’s calling, and nice if you’re running a lot of apps because it uses little battery, perfect for the pearl which can be temperamental when it comes to app and app memory. The app only uses single colors, no combinations so it does leave you limited to nine contacts alone. It is not as advanced as other apps which also allow email, but nonetheless, it is simple and small.

If you are looking for a more advanced app, this app will not be for you. If you are looking for something simple for calls and SMS text alone, then this app is just what you’ve been looking for.

You can download a copy of IdentifyMe v1.0 for $3.99 from the BlackBerry Sync Store here >

The app is compatible with OS: 4.5, 4.6, 4.7
