FlightView app has the following features:

Flight Tracker: Track flights by flight number or route between 2 cities – search flights yesterday, today, tomorrow, and up to three months in the future – and view a real-time map for in-air flights showing the plane’s current position and national radar weather. Viewing flight schedules between cities also lets you know alternate flight options in case your travel plans are disrupted by flight delays or cancellations.

My Flights and Calendar Integration: Save flights to your My Flights list to quickly reference the status of these flights in the future. Add notes associated with the trip, such as car rental or hotel reservation numbers. FlightView’s app integrates with your BlackBerry calendar – add a saved flight to your calendar and automatically see flight details and notes in the new calendar entry.

Flight Status Alerts: Get immediate notification of changes in flight status, delays or cancellations on flights saved in your My Flights list – whether the app is open or closed.
