Engadget posted an outstanding article December 28th, beginning from 1999 till now, focusing on the growth of Research In Motion and the BlackBerry devices. Reading and looking back makes you really see how far RIM has come. It’s amazing when you look back at how a product began as a baby email device and grew up to be a business/consumer product for everyone.
Hats off to Chris Ziegler for this article, it’s very in depth with the history. I found it very interesting, not having realized that so much growth has occurred in just one decade. It went from that email  little gadget named “BlackBerry” to setting forth conquering the organizer always on,  the example for push, becoming a phone, bringing color into the picture, and then to appeal to a consumer market. They have come such a long way, and it’s probably something we never pondered when we hold our beloved BlackBerry in our hand.
If you’ve read the article, we’d like to know your thoughts on the history of the BlackBerry in the last ten years. What BlackBerry device is your favorite in your opinion?
