Sprint pushes out OS 4.7.1.57 for BlackBerry Tour 9630

It might be late news, but its good news! Sprint has finally gotten around to releasing a new OS update for their BlackBerry Tour 9630. Sprint has released 4.7..1.57 which is said to feature a few improvements over their last version. Keep in mind you don’t need a Sprint Tour to install this update (simply follow the instructions here). Anyway if you’re using .57 on your Tour let us know how it works, by posting a comment below.

    I upgraded. Didn’t really see a remarkable difference. But for those of you who have a sprint BB Curve, they just released v4.5.0.295

    sorry… that upgrade is for the 8330m… if you have the 8330, the latest is v4.5.0.188

    I did the update didn’t really see any changes the trackball hasn’t stalled out as much and most of the time I can load the pages and facebook app quicker.

    WHERES THE 5.0 FOR TOUR WE WANT THREADED MESSAGING AND THE 5.0 IS ALOT FASTER AND RUNS BETTER, ON THIS ONE DID NOT SEE ANYTHING DIFFERENT GIVE US THE 5.0

    I upgraded from the .40 to the .57 and I don’t like it, it freezes everytime i initially try to access the phone for a minute, then everything is normal again. But if you are away from your phone for a bit, and get a txt, better be prepared to wait a minute to read it :(
