The Storm was Blackberry's innovation. The Pre is Palm's - the market has decided - read any review anywhere. Experts not really needed.

Bob,

We all know about the shortcomings of the Storm, but with the latest software update, I'm told it has made a big difference. IMHO I think it should have been released next year, but that's neither here nor there. But as far as reliable phones (with the exception of the Storm), BlackBerry has done great. I love the reception, reliability, and the ability to use the security on it. Al is a great writer and has had quite a bit experience, as his experience is even on the business aspect of the devices, so I would think his evaluation goes by industry and personal experience. But again, I know the Storm is proof that like a wine, it's better to let it age before bringing it out to share.

Sounds like a lot of personal opinion and little fact or self awareness of BB's shortcomings. I have a Storm and there is a laundry list.
