Palringo’s IM App is now available in the BlackBerry App World

Palringo is available through the BlackBerry App World and it’s free! For those of you who don’t know what Palringo is, it’s a multi-service Instant Messaging application that allows users to exchange voice and text-based messages with contacts on the top messaging IM’s, meaning you can chat, share photo and voice messages on many different IM and social Networking services with one app.

The IM services include Microsoft’s Windows Live/MSN Messenger, Facebook, AOL Instant Messenger, Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger, Apple’s iChat, Gadu-Gadu, ICA, Jabber and QQ. You can also form and use group chatting, making it a great business app. You now even have the option to share your location with your friends.

    I have been in Blackberry App World a couple of times now and I cannot find it. Is there a way to update Blackberry App World?

    Didn’t find it either on App World, just google Palringo from your BB, it will be the first link…

    Well, I found the update for Blackberry App World and Palringo still wasn’t in there. So I just downloaded from their website. The only thing that sux is that I have the Blackberry Storm and it works but it’s still not really set up for the storm.

    Yeah scrolling kinda sux actually, to go down you must scroll down instead of the scroll up to go down thing on the Storm, well I suppose they will hear us now loll

    Doesn’t really work on the Storm. Its made for the little half screens.

    Thanks for letting us know about the app not being in App World, I’m hoping they fix that. Does the app work on the other BlackBerry smartphones other than the Storm? How is the overall app?

    I have the STORM and the Palringo app works fine, however….the ‘PTT’ (Push To Talk) function does dont work AT ALL. Gives me an error message. The ‘PTT’ capabilty was the biggest reason why I wanted to download it, but now I’m having second thoughts. Don’t think it’s fully compatible with the Storm yet, but those kinks are fixed soon or if someone can tell me how to fix that BUG, then I will reconsider.
