OS Alert: BlackBerry Curve 8330 OS 4.5.0.160 Released!

RIM has just officially released a new OS for the BlackBerry Curve 8330. The new OS is 4.5.0.160 and has already been released by Telus for their 8330. This update works with all ESN based models from various carriers in North America. You can download this update from the Telus downloads page on RIM’s site here. Be sure to remove the vendor.xml file if your not a Telus client. Once you have installed this update please let us know if you notice any fixes or issues by commenting below…

Thanks for the update. Just upgraded. Haven’t noticed anything different as of yet!
The call timer is back, compared to 4.5.0.138.
Battery life has improved, but that’s about all i can see. Pretty stable as well.
Not sure if it’s because of the update but I can’t seem to hide a particular picture in my pictures anymore. When I click on hide while viewing the picture it jumps to the desktop and doesn’t hide the picture.
As an app and theme designer, i wish, god i wish there was a better way to keep every handset up to date with the latest OS on autopilot . . . here’s the problem, no harm intended, but there are a large number of NOOBS (tech challenged) people with blackberry handsets.
