HOT! Facebook 1.6 for BlackBerry Launching This Thursday!
Ronen at BerryReview is reporting that a new version of Facebook for BlackBerry, version 1.6 will be launching this Thursday (May 28th). While RIM is known to massively delay app launches with any luck this one might actually come on time. This new version of Facebook isn’t quite v 2.0 but will sport some cool new features including feed support, profile and wall viewing and even improved photo viewing.
- Feed support – view and comment on friends status updates and highlights
- Profile and wall viewing – view and comment on friends’ profiles and wall updates
- Improved photo viewing – view and comment on pictures
Anyone out there excited for a new Facebook??
It might just be me, but we can do all these things already.
If you wanna look at and comment on ur friend’s profile status just click on the first icon when in the FB app. Unless RIM makes it like Social Scope is set up then there won’t be any different. If they do in fact set it up like SS that would be awesome! :)
Is there a “leaked” version running around anywhere by chance? …email… :)
