Late last month it was rumored that Verizon was getting ready to launch OS 4.7.0.141 for the BlackBerry Storm. Latest word on the block is that the OS actually failed testing by the Big Red (aka Verizon). Apparently .141 was full of little bugs and too many glitches still occur. Last thing we heard is that RIM will not be releasing anymore 4.7 releases for carriers to test because their getting ready for OS 5.0 roll out. So looks like Verizon customers might be stuck loading on leaked OS’ until an official one comes. Stay tuned for more details…

    This is stupid Verizon. There is NOTHING in 141 that isn’t better than the .75 you DID approve!

    No kidding. I’m running 141 just fine, which is infinitely better than 75. Although I did experience some reboots running on 2.5G (GSM) in China last week.

    So is the 141 okay to download for us verizon users?

    @C:
    Sure, 141 works on Verizon 9530, but .148 came out today and is even better. Do a search at crackberry.com for the 4.7.0.148 threads. There is even a list posted of all the fixes from 141 to 148.
