Want Twitter on your BlackBerry? It’s my new addiction

Recently I’ve started to discover and mess around with Twitter. I’ve had a twitter feed setup for BlackBerry Sync for months now but finally I’m just getting around to testing it out. One of the first things I started to do was look around for Twitter applications for my BlackBerry. I didn’t know what to except for an application until I stumbled across a great one called TwitterBerry.

TwitterBerry is a great application that allows you to update your Twitter status right from your device. Not only that but it allows you to see your Twitter friends and see their updates, plus reply or direct message your friends. Anyways if your looking to get into Twitter I suggest you do the following steps:

  • Sign up for Twitter (if you haven’t already)
  • Start following BlackBerry Sync on Twitter
  • Download TwitterBerry OTA here from your BlackBerry

    • Then once you have your friends Twit away! If your a Twitter addict let us know in the comments. Also if you have seen other Twitter apps for BlackBerry post a comment as well…

      I use twitterberry as well to update my twitter status. Its great. My only complaint is that I wish it would notify me of updates to my friends timelines when it refreshes. I think it is suppose to do this but it does not refresh when it is running in the background. I sent a message to their support last week but have not heard back yet.

      Im currently in the SocialScope beta and I must say it is a better alternative. Mainly because twitterberry only shows 1 line of the message which equates to about the first 5-8 words. SocialScope actually wraps on multiple lines to show the entire message.
