TwitterBerry 0.9 Beta 1 now available for download
Orangatame the creators of TwitterBerry have just released new version 0.9 Beta 1. You can download TwitterBerry directly on your device by directing your BlackBerry browser to orangatama.com/ota/twitterberry. The new update is said to bring several new features (listed below). Also after installing TwitterBerry feel freet to start following us at twitter.com/blackberrysync.
New Features:
- OS 4.2.1+: Includes improved TwitPic support. Look for the ‘Send to TwitterBerry’ menu in the Media application when viewing images. TwitPic uploads are sent over direct TCP connections, see ‘Connection Help’ in the Settings page
- OS 4.2.1+: TwitPic progress bar, to show the progress of the upload
- OS 4.3.0+: WiFi support for all connections
- Full tweets on the list screen. No need to click to open new tweets
- Improved network connectivity, adding support for WAP 2.0
- Hyperlink “@username” in tweets to visit their timeline
- Re-Tweet tweets from timelines or tweet views
- Optional HTTPS SSL support on all authenticated requests

just tried this and its still v.08… and when you try to update – it says “forbidden”
@ Nigel: Try uninstalling TwitterBerry then reinstalling it. It should work then…

I am loving the new beta features of TwitterBerry… trying to figure out how to quickly return to the top of the timeline lists, however- refresh doesn’t do it… I’m using a Storm, and not yet familiar with shortcuts I used to use on a Pearl keyboard. Anyone?
Also… at the risk of sounding really dumb…what does “Background on Close” mean??
there aren’t many shortcuts. i switched back to twitterberry because tiny twitter was killing my battery but loved the tiny twitter shortcuts
oh and I’m glad that this version makes it easier to follow new people

Just downloaded TwitterBerry 0.9 and I can’t send pictures to twitter. DO I just open the pic I want to send and choose “send to twitterberry”? If so then this isn’t working. Can someone please help!! :)

I am having the same problem that Katie is having and it is really frustrating. My husband and I just got the new phones and we downloaded the same thing. His works and mine does not. What is the deal. I have taken twitterberry off and on several times. Nothing changes. I need help! I am at my wits end!

i’ve downloaded the new twitterberry, and i’ve got a problem with an “invalid password” error and no matter what i do, i can never get it to work? i’ve tried everything.
