OS Alert: BlackBerry Storm 9530 OS 4.7.0.114 leaked!
Previously we showed you a sneak peak of an upcoming 9530 OS from RIM that featured a new selection tool. That OS we checked out was 4.7.0.112 and seemed to run very well! Well a new leaked OS for the Storm 9530 4.7.0.114 is now available for download. We don’t know exactly what the new version features but hopefully its even more stable. I recommend you download it fast as the links never seem to last too long. Before installing please keep in mind that this OS is not official and has not been officially been released by RIM as of yet. We also recommend you do a complete backup before installing. Now if you’ve done all that click the download link below and install it.

just upgraded and this is the most pain the @$$ leak. go back to .109 really slow and certain keys are missing. when is rim ever going to fix this 100%??????????
agreed how do i get older version?
I am yet to install .114 because the last version I’m using works so well. Looks like RIM hasn’t perfected .114 just yet. Let’s all hope for the next one to be better…

WOW!!! Did they ever screw this one up. Skip this leak. Lost almost everything on the phone. Had to go back to .109. That seems the best so far.
This is definitely a nasty OS update. The .114 OS did not install very smoothly and prompted that I needed to reload my data backup after the OS install. Once the backup data was reloaded, A few things I noticed were that the screen flip is not very responsive and glitchy, especially right after being pulled from the holster. It ofter requires a bit of a good shake to switch back to portrait view. When calling an automated service and requiring to press number keys in call, the number keypad does not display and instead shows a letter keyboard without any number keypad option (very annoying! I can’t check my voicemail through my BB because of that). I am very eagerly awaiting a new release in order to fix my phone. I don’t have a copy of an earlier version like .109 or .112 to fall back on.
Just downloaded OS 4.7.0.114. Actually downloaded easily and seems to run like a dream on my Storm. Good Job RIMM.
