I have a BB8330R, ESN# 076, and even after the os 4.5 update I still cannot watch downloaded video, albeit downloaded prior to the update. The Sprint network, outside 3G areas is too slow to view streaming video, and from what I have learned thus far, it is an inherent problem with the hardware. Model 8330M, ESN# 268 and beyond address that issue. Sprint is uncooperative in the matter, and I have little faith in RIM as they apparently placed a 2.9MB download limit on video, and a 5MB download limit on pictures??!! Any fixes for that?

Is anyone else having problems downloading the software? Everytime I download it I get half way down and then it say unable to read. I think its cuz I am downloading through Firefox, but IE won’t connect so I don’t know what to do. I guess i’ll try IE one more time and see what happens.

I was a little worried that I would screw up my phone, but I successfully installed the new OS(4.5) to my phone. Now my backlight is slow to turn on. Also switching between screens hangs a bit. Two problems I can deal with as long as it doesn’t become worse.

My major complaint is I’m not able to view certain videos post OS upgrade. There were sites that I was able to view videos on and now I get an error when loading. The message reads “The media being played is of an unsupported format.” I’ve never recieved that before and don’t know how to fix it. What would make my vedio player not work now when it did before? I can still view mobile youtube stuff, but video from some other sites will not work now.

Any recommendations?
