@Joe:
You have to log in to your BIS and resend service books. That is assuming your carrier supports HTML email by having the right BIS and the capability enabled. Old emails won't magically upgrade their HTML, only newly received emails with HTML will have it.

Installed this on my Verizon BB 8830. No problems during the install. I did not get the prime feature that I was looking for - HTML processing of email. The help file says that there is an option under Email Settings labeled "Enable HTML Email" however it is NOT there. So my email is still in text mode. There was one super plus though - the GPS is unlocked. When I used the BB Map application, it put my BB at the correct place. There was one small glitch though - the icon for the Facebook application disappeared

Loaded it on my 8830. Video player is still partially broken.
Wathing video from CNN ... it always said media type not supported if I hit "open". But it will play the file if I save it to local memory before opening the file. Strange.

Successfully loaded this onto my Verizon 8830 last night following the process described at www.berryreview.com. No complaints -- I did have to resend my Service Books to activate HTML mail.

Thanks for posting the announcement!

Works on my VZW 8830 yes. No major hiccups so far though installing it was a trial. Check the thread at berryreview.com for my experiences (and others) and how I got it loaded.

@valita:
No. OS releases are model specific. Go to blackberry.com and get the Sprint 4.5.0.131 for the 8330 and use it.
