RIM on Storm: “software glitches… are part of the new reality”
When your spending anywhere from $200 to nearly $600 for a hot new BlackBerry product you would at least hope it would be running fairly well. Well personally I know after buying my Storm nearly two months ago I have had some small software issues and haven’t been that impressed. RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie addressed the issue in an article over at the WSJ. Here’s part of what he had to say:
RIM co-Chief Executive Jim Balsillie said the companies made the crucial Black Friday deadline “by the skin of their teeth,” after missing a planned October debut. Mr. Balsillie said such scrambles — and the subsequent software glitches that need to be fixed — are part of the “new reality” of making complex cellphones in large volumes.
