OS 4.7.0.86 leaked for BlackBerry Storm 9530

Storm-chasing addicts out there will be happy today! A new leaked version of OS 4.7 for the BlackBerry Storm 9530 is available. The new version is OS 4.7.0.86 and seems to be a slight upgrade from the last couple leaked versions. Early reports are suggesting this OS brings much more stability to the device including faster camera, web browsing and accelerometer. Remember this isn’t an official OS release from RIM therefore make sure you know what your doing before installing it. All you have to do is download this OS, install it, open Desktop Manager and you should be good to go from there. BE SURE TO DO A BACKUP OF YOUR DEVICE BEFORE INSTALLING THIS. Good luck!

    I installed it on my device earlier tonight and so far its working really well. Everything seems to be faster and a lot more stable… Time will tell though.

    “Media Card” freeze still a problem.
    Camera faster, still laughably slow.
    Accelerometer about the same as .83.
    “Missed Call” dialog box long overdue.
    Camera function icons given some transparency, finally able to see full image before capture.
    Embedded browser receives no additional codecs.
    Doesn’t play as nice with Bolt browser as .85.
    Still doesn’t default to speakerphone if last selected.
    Keyboards gain no tab key nor arrows.
