OS 4.6.0.228 for BlackBerry Bold 9000 leaked!

Ronen from BerryReview stumbled across a leaked copy of OS 4.6.0.228 for the BlackBerry Bold. This OS has not been officially released by RIM or any carrier. If your not familiar with using a beta OS we don’t recommend you install it, however if you know what your doing be sure to do an extra backup! Good luck and be sure to let us know in the comments if you notice any big improvments…

    Problems with this version (4.6.0.228) SMS only 70ch not 160 as usual. Better dont install

    Not true: in my BOLD (4.6.0.228), sms lenght is OK (160 ch).

    in my unit it is TRUE….sms length is 70 NOT 160 ¿?¿?.
    Depens on provider, perharps ¿?

    There is no reason to install this yet as it’s not a completed version, I suggest waiting for the launch data for compatibility.

    I have tested this for a week and had numerous problems with the SMS lengths also there is a problem with back up it causes errors (Backup Failed). I tried to roll back to previews version and this failed.
    I have to format the device.

    Wait for Blackberry.
