OS 4.7.0.83 leaked for BlackBerry Storm 9500 & 9530

Great news for BlackBerry Storm owners! Some tipsters have leaked Storm OS 4.7.0.83 for both the 9500 and 9530. Now we have to stress this isn’t an official release however so far it seems to be working great. To install this OS simply install the file then open BlackBerry Desktop Manager, connect your BlackBerry and follow the instructions. Make sure you do a backup before installing the software too. Make sure you the software before its removed!

    I cannot download the new 9530 OS 4.7.0.83 thru the link on megaupload.com . Can someone please advise????

    step 1. on download page you will read 3 lwtters in the  download box add them
    step 2. next page wait for the free box to timeout then press download
    step3. then follow directions…

    i downloaded the os and after it opened the desktop manager i plug the 9530 in and then when it checked for updates it did not give me a second dialougue box….how exactly am i supposed to update my phone.

    Do not use this version. Seek out 4.7.0.113, and then do a search on practically any BB site for step by step instructions how to install an OS.
