I just purchased a Blackberry Pearl 8220 flip with my At&T sim card from my old phone. Well, this phone has T-mobile on it and it was supposed to be unlocked, but I don't think it is, cause it says, "no valid sim card installed", when I turn the phone on, whether I insert my sim card or not. Can anyone help me solve this, so I can get the phone working with my sim card?

If you can't figure out how to unlock your phone with the above method, just buy an unlock code, that's what i did

Got my unlock code from www.BlackberryUnlockingOnline.com

and unlocked my AT&T Blackberry 8900 Curve for $10 after a 20% discount that I got using the coupon code " askstudent "

I think the code is still valid, cause I just bought my code 3 days ago and it worked.

give it a try
