this works with the new blackberry bold. 9000 is the bold isn’t it???

  3. Jonno says:

@Kevn D – Yes the Bold is part of the 9000 series.

It looks like the software has been removed though. If you search on Pirate Bay or Torrentz you should be able to find copies on there.

Does it work for the srorm? any software damages risks?

  5. Nick says:

I have seen a couple users that said that doesn’t work for the 9000 series that it actually bricks your storm and you have reload the OS, so for right now Verizon Wireless is the only one that can unlock your phone, or you can pay for someone to do it for you.

Unfortunately I am getting this Messege too when I try to flash my BB with MFI Multiloader which is below:

Can not create CFP instance. Please ensure the BBCFPCOM Driver is Register.

Any idea why i am getting it and how to fix it ? Please.

  13. alfahari says:

So, if this link is not working and the pirate bay software is corrupt, can someone lead me on? I badly need this software, I cannot let go of my sweet phone. Nazim come in handy pliz.

  14. Edward E. Palmer says:

the BBCFPCOM error means your oracle client workstation is not connected to your oracle server or oracle enabled website where you put the program. Simple solution, if you don’t need to unlock 1,000s or more on multiple workstations, is to put it on a home PC, disconnect your network and internet, so the program defaults to look in your own computer for the cfp, and just do one at a time ( this also stops computer from trying to find cfp on internet, so it never will run if you don’t). If you have .net 2.0 or newer, I used 3.5a as it had less reconnect errors, the program will find cfp in your windowns based computer and just run. Of course, the phone is totally nuked, including lock code, and you will need to use desktop manager to reinstall OS and apps. I needed to update to 4.2.1 anyway on my 8700, so just one more step.

To fix the BCFPCOM error you just need to register the BCFPCOM.dll file. I read hundreds of posts with not straight answers.

By unlocking the BB curve 8900, does it means I can do MSN through WiFi connection and also use GPS without paying monthly fee to Telenav?

  29. Tony says:

I have searched everywhere and can’t find a definitve answer to the following question:
Can the Blackberry Storm 9530 be used with the newest MFI Mulitloader?

I have already used it successfully with the 8100 Pearl.

Also, to register the BBCFPCOM.dll file just click on the file (located in the MLL directory I believe) and choose open with…
Then find the regsrv32 file located in the C:\windows\system32 directory. The regsrv32 file will register that DLL and enable you to use the program.
NOTE: .NET 2.0 must also be installed.

    Thanks.

has anyone had success unlocking a curve 8900 using the method in the tutorial above?

  39. charles says:

If you can’t figure out how to unlock your phone with the above method, just buy an unlock code, that’s what i did

Got my unlock code from http://www.BlackberryUnlockingOnline.com

and unlocked my AT&T Blackberry 8900 Curve for $10 after a 20% discount that I got using the coupon code ” askstudent ”

I think the code is still valid, cause I just bought my code 3 days ago and it worked.

    give it a try

The MFI files when unzipped just replace the previous part. Is this correct?.

The issue I have is that when I unpack the MFI, each one justs overlaps the older one. Is this right? It has 8 sections.

I just purchased a Blackberry Pearl 8220 flip with my At&T sim card from my old phone. Well, this phone has T-mobile on it and it was supposed to be unlocked, but I don’t think it is, cause it says, “no valid sim card installed”, when I turn the phone on, whether I insert my sim card or not. Can anyone help me solve this, so I can get the phone working with my sim card?
