With the release of the BlackBerry Storm in the UK and coming up in North America very soon. RIM has released version 4.7 of BlackBerry Desktop Manager for PC. You have the option to download this software with or without the media manager as well. You can grab a copy of the new Desktop Manager right here from RIM directly.

I tried connecting/sync using this program but the status remains disconnected and I am unable to transfer any file to my Bold.

I have downloaded blackberry desktop manager to my pc so that I can sync my emails between pc and bb. but it now says before you begin verify that your current blackberry device is connected to your computer. How do you do this? My screen is now frozen with this message infront of the desktop manager home page.
Do you have an enterprise or corporate email? For the emails to sync, they require that.
