RIM has a secret little menu hiding inside your BlackBerry as long as its running OS 4.2 or higher. This little secret is a self diagnostic tool, which will help you figure out if something is wrong with your device. To access this menu simply go options > status > then type test once the application opens simply check off the hardware you want to test.

This will be a handy tool if you need to check someones trackball for example.

  1. Nice, could have used this app when before i had a problem with a key not working. Wondering if it would’ve registered using this. Thanks, Russell.

I tried this on a Bell 8330, everything works except the RF part, it wants to see a SIM card!
