Globe & Mail thinks RIM will release a sliding Storm
Where should I start with this article posted today by the Globe and Mail…
The article published in Today’s paper talks about RIM’s new Pearl Flip as a game changer for the North American market. Then they started talking about RIM’s upcoming first touch screen BlackBerry. According to the Globe and Mail RIM will release the BlackBerry Thunder and also a “a second device which features both a touch-screen interface as well as a slide-out QWERTY keypad [...] known as Storm” anyone else think thats weird? We do know that RIM filed a patent a long time ago for a slide-out keyboard, however the Storm will NOT be this device.
From everything we have heard the Storm will be marketed by Verizon exclusively and everyone else (ie. Vodafone and Telus) will call it Thunder. The Globe also reports that Rogers and Verizon will be the only ones to see the device in North America (when we know its defiantly coming Telus).
