Leave it to Boy Genius to get his hands on the new BlackBerry OS 5.0, which we will see eventually. It doesn’t look like there is too many new features except the clock application (similar to the Bold) and a file manager. OS 5.0 will be available for the BlackBerry Curve and maybe a few other models.

With the upcoming releases of the BlackBerry Storm (running OS 4.7) and BlackBerry Javelin (running OS 4.6) we don’t expect this new OS to launch until sometime next year. You will notice that the menus look pretty much the same, but keep in mind its not near ready yet.
