RIM will roll out Thunder on October 8th?

A new rumors has been posted online claiming the BlackBerry Thunder, RIM’s first touch screen BlackBerry will be launching October 8th. In the United States Verizon will be the first to launch the device followed by Vodafone over in the UK.
Apparently Thunder users will be able to download music over the air via Rhapsody. Other details of the Thunder include 3.2 megapixel camera, Haptic technology for touch screen, full QWERTY and Suretype touch screen keyboard, 360×480 touch display and OS 4.7.

Any word on when this thing will be available in its home and native land (that would be Canada)? And who will be offering it (please not Rogers).

can you download great apps? How about 3G? What about multi-touch? Nice try but the iPhone still blows my mind everyday!!
